Services are at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The teaching is the same for all three times, but they are unique in worship expression. Our 11:00 Sunday services are generally loud and energetic, fully contemporary services. You'll hear songs from such artists as David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, and Matt Redman among many others. Our 8:00 and 9:30 Sunday services, called our "Classic" services, feature a more traditional worship style, mixing hymns with well known Christian songs. In this service, you're likely to hear songs like "Victory In Jesus," "As The Deer," and "How Great Thou Art." So, just pick the one that suits you best and come on by. We recommend that you arrive about 10 minutes before the service so that you won't feel rushed.

When Wendy and I first moved to Surprise in September of 2003, we found ourselves in an exciting and growing place filled with opportunity. However, we quickly began missing the family and friends that we left when we moved here, and we began looking for a place where we could find a new sense of belonging.

We found the connections we were missing in a community of faith called Palm Vista. The most wonderful thing about Palm Vista is its people. Palm Vista is filled with friendly and encouraging people from all ages and backgrounds who have come together to worship God and grow in their faith in Him.

My prayer for you is that, at Palm Vista, you will find what Wendy and I have found - a place to call home.

Coming to a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing. Services at Palm Vista are pretty laid back. If you're coming for the first time, be sure to grab yourself a doughnut and some coffee before church starts at our reception area. From there, it's an easy step over to the connection table where someone will be waiting to answer any questions you might have. Right next to that table is our child registration area. When you're ready to enter the church, someone will greet you in the foyer with the bulletin for that Sunday, and an usher will be available if you would like help finding a seat.

Services usually start with a few announcements - just keeping everybody up to date with the things that we're doing. We also take our Palm Vista Poll during this time - something we like to do to learn some fun stuff about our congregation. Click HERE to see some of our previous poll results. After announcements are over, we have about 30 minutes of worship and media followed by a Bible-based, life-focused message, which also goes about 30 minutes. Pastor Jonathan is an engaging speaker with a true teacher's heart.
