Scott has served as a full time pastoral staff member in small, medium and large churches over the past 15 years. He spent most of those years in youth ministry and looks forward to bringing his church staff experience to fill the needs at Palm Vista. Scott also is an adjunct instructor at Grand Canyon University in the Christian Studies department. His graduate degree is in Educational Ministry from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and a degree in Bible from Multnomah University.

Scott and his wife, Robyn, are both from the Pacific Northwest but really love Arizona winters. They have three children, Samantha (11), Ryan (9) and Jadon (5). Robyn teaches fitness classes at Arrowhead Country Club and Scott works as a Foster Family Specialist for Christian Family Care Agency. They enjoy hiking and making new friends.

“My passion is to see people move on to maturity in Christ so that they can in turn multiply God’s love in the life of another. I desire to be used by God here at Palm Vista to help people feel at home in this church and motivate them to serve God with their gifts. My goal is to personally greet every person at Palm Vista; whether first time visitor or long time member.”
