John Hudgins has been leading worship for over 13 years. He began his ministry in the Vineyard movement of churches where he served as a youth worship leader. He learned much of what he knows about worship from such worship leaders as John and Marie Barnett, Chris Lizotte, and Rick Kamrath. His favorite worship leader is Matt Redman, "because of his heart towards worship."
John has lived in Surprise for 7 years, and has been attending Palm Vista for 4 of those years. He grew up in Southern California where he met his wife, Amanda, while they were both in high school. They have two daughters, Lainey and Brooke.
Note from John:
"Hey all. First off, let me tell you that I love to worship God. Love it. It's my passion. I've been leading worship for over 13 years now, and I never get tired of it, no matter what the situation. I've led worship for just a few people in a Growth Group setting, I've led worship for hundreds of people in a conference setting, and just about everything in between. But no matter where I am or what we're doing, it is my honest hope that I'm really only worshipping for one person, Christ my Savior. Looking forward to worshipping with you soon."

Worship Vision
Worship at Palm Vista has four-fold purpose: -
Direction: Seeking the presence of God through worship
- allowing worship to be a medium through which God's Spirit moves in our meetings and directs our hearts.
- Unification and Momentum: To bring believers from every background into one voice, one song
- singing well loved worship together.
- Passion and Energy: To give new forms of worship to God's people, new ways in which to express heartfelt praise
- singing new songs that ignite new love for Christ.
- Evangelism: To reach the unchurched by voicing the Truth in simple, heart-piercing ways
- allowing the Spirit of God to move by voicing His Truth in order to reach the lost.
Worship, being a medium through which all believers may unite, is uniquely suited to be at the core of what we do at Palm Vista.
