The care team exists to help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our church family and community through practical forms of care.
The care team consists of five care groups, each of which focuses on a different expression of care.
Calls and Cards – making phone calls to discover care needs and prayer requests and mailing encouraging cards to those celebrating special occasions or going through difficult times
Meal Support – providing meals for people who are sick or injured, have recently lost a spouse or loved one, or have recently celebrated the birth of a new baby
Visitation – making emergency visits to people who are in the hospital and regular visits to those who are recovering from sickness or injury, chronically ill, shut in, lonely, or bereaved
Handyman Team – helping people with things they cannot do themselves, like basic handyman tasks around the house and yard work
God’s Garage – doing minor car repair and routine auto maintenance like changing oil, hoses, belts, and batteries, and rotating tires
