God has placed in each of us the desire to make a difference. When we surrender to that desire, we join God in something He is already doing…we join Him in mission.
A “mission” is not a trip; it is a lifestyle. It is not reserved for professionals with special training or pastors with special gifts. Each of us has a life-mission, and God has called us to embrace it.
But how does one get started in his life-mission? Jesus tells us to be His witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, even to the remotest part of the earth.”
For those who live in the West Valley, Jerusalem represents local opportunities here in our area. Judea represents regional opportunities across the Valley and in our state. Samaria represents cross-cultural opportunities right at our doorstep (another state, or Mexico, for example). And the remotest part of the earth represents international opportunities throughout the world.
